Supercritical CO2 Extraction
Our CBD is extracted using an advanced method: supercritical CO2 extraction. More respectful of the strain than solvent extraction, supercritical CO2 extraction yields very high-quality CBD. It employs carbon dioxide in a supercritical state, that is, at the boundary between liquid and gaseous states.
The supercritical CO2 extraction used by Marie Jeanne is an extremely precise and clean process. It is carried out at very low temperatures and high pressure to extract and isolate the cannabinoids. It allows for the separation and extraction of cannabinoids and flavonoids naturally present without any residues.
This cold extraction method extracts all active and olfactory molecules without any alteration. It is the most precise extraction method, yielding the purest CBD.
Sativa L Strain
Our e-liquids are made from high-quality CBD, extracted exclusively from hemp varieties of Sativa L authorized by French and European regulations.
The European Union and France have indeed authorized the exploitation of certain hemp varieties for many years. These different varieties of cannabis Sativa L. are clearly listed in the legal texts and have been selected for being devoid of narcotic properties due to their THC content of less than 0.2%.
Marie Jeanne uses only CBD extracted from authorized parts of Sativa L strains. We rigorously select the hemp growers we collaborate with, to offer you CBD e-liquids that meet all current standards.
THC-Free
In France, the Public Health Code requires a THC content of less than 0.2% in the hemp varieties used in the production of CBD e-liquids. This implies that the varieties of cannabis Sativa L used for our e-liquids are devoid of their narcotic properties.
During extraction, traces of THC still present in the plant are isolated from the other cannabinoids. The extraction processes used by Marie Jeanne thus yield pure and healthy CBD, free of narcotic properties. By separating THC from other cannabinoids during extraction, we develop THC-free CBD e-liquids for you.
