The Distillate of Gelato is a search for a particular flavor. Gelato is a strain of cannabis that is renowned for having distant notes of sweet and creamy taste, hints of traditional Italian gelato. Gelato is typically grown to contain high levels of the terpenes myrcene and limonene, vanilla, and macadamia nuts. A full-spectrum CBD distillate is a hemp-derived product that contains all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other natural compounds found in the hemp plant. It is obtained by steam distillation, which allows the different components of the plant to be separated using precise temperatures and pressures. The result is a product that is highly concentrated in CBD, but which also contains other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBN and THC (in amounts less than 0.2%), as well as natural terpenes and flavonoids. These components work together to produce synergistic effects known as the entourage effect.
